Data Privacy Software survey shows nearly 40% market growth

Fortune Business Insights shows the impact of COVID-19, the major increase in data breaches, the global workforce’s shift to working at home, along with heightened consumer concern over privacy and the raft of new data privacy laws on the data privacy software market. Their projections following this unprecedent period of growth is that the market is on track to increase to more than $17B by 2028. Rising adoption of IoT and significant growth in Asia are also key factors.

Ping Identity digital wallet verifies and secures sensitive data

The new personal identity solution, PingOne for Individuals, allows consumers to better manage their personal data via a digital wallet. The system allows credit bureaus, universities, pharmacies, and other trusted entities to add verified credentials to a user’s PingOne ShoCard digital wallet via a link or when owners scan a QR code. This keeps sensitive data within the person’s control since it is only stored in the digital wallet.

Brave offers bold alternative to Search without Bias

Brave is about to give Google Search, Bing, and other browsers a run for their money with the beta release of the company’s new search engine, which will become the default for the Brave browser by the end of the year. Google Defers Demise of Third-Party Cookies

I know you’ve already heard the news, but still feel obligated to report that Google has announced it will support third-party cookies in Chrome until the end of 2023, more than a year longer than expected.  They nobly cite concern for “the business models of many web publishers” but protecting their own revenue and data-gathering seems a more plausible motivation.  They’re also grounding FLoC, their much-criticized cohort-based targeting alternative, until further notice.

Meanwhile, Phonexa is offering a suite that combines new click tracking, suppression list management, and cloud PBX products with its previously-separate call tracking, lead distribution, email and SMS marketing, and accounting systems.
