Anzu, based in Tel Aviv and Livewire have established a multi-year partnership in France to allow more French brands to connect with gamers via intrinsic in-game advertising. In 2022, France was the world’s seventh-largest market by game revenues, with almost half of the population considering themselves to be gamers (over 36.5M).

Expectations are for significant growth in the US. The company uses patented AI camera technology that can detect drivers using mobile phones, seatbelt compliance, speeding, vehicles driving in closed freeway lanes, unregistered vehicles, and vehicles of interest. It plans to work with local authorities to evolve ways to deter road fatalities.

Malaysia-based marketing technology startup Involve Asia has announced raising $10 million in an investment round led by Bintang Capital Partners.  The fresh funding will be used to support Involve Asia’s expansion across Southeast Asia and Australasia, as well as the development of a new product suite to cater to increasing digital market needs of customers.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) have launched the linkage between Singapore’s PayNow and India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI). U.S. firm Epic Games is challenging Google in an Indian tribunal for not complying with some portions of an antitrust directive, alleging that the tech giant is not hosting the gaming company’s app store on Google’s Play Store app. Epic’s claims are the latest legal issues to plague the Alphabet Inc unit in India.
