Brazil’s new law, The Legal Framework for the Electronic Games Industry, includes privacy protections and obligations for the State to establish age categories for use of data belonging to young people.

Privacy advocacy group noyb has lodged two complaints with Austria’s data protection authority claiming Microsoft’s 365 Education program, which is used widely in EU schools, violates GDPR. The claims include that the data of minors is being processed unlawfully and that information on data use is being kept vague.

Pressure is being applied on businesses by the hacker who is posting stolen data for sale on hacker forums.

This brings the company’s outside funding total to $90 million. The toolkit automates the DSR process.
