Maryland breaks new ground with a bill that limits law enforcement use of genetic data. House Bill 240, which passed unanimously in the Maryland House, stipulates that databases storing genetic information must provide consumers notice their DNA could be used for crime matching.

France hates ads most re global survey

A look at use of ad-blocking software conducted by Surfshark, shows which countries are least to most tolerant. France, (closely followed by Sweden and Denmark) netted 579 of 100,000 searches for ad-blocking software; the U.S. resulted in 300 of 100,000, and Nigeria had only 1 of 100,000.
