B2B CDP Zylotech has announced an integration with intent data compiler Bombora. Joint customers will be able to use Bombora data in Zylotech analytics and campaigns. It’s a good example of adding third party data to a CDP, if you were looking for one.
Twilio, once a messaging platform but now much more, has extended its SendGrid email system to send audience lists to display and social advertising channels. They’ve also announced an API to unify messaging across SMS, MMS, Chat and WhatsApp.
Microsoft is also spreading its wings. They just bought PromoteIQ, which lets brands place ads on retailers’ e-commerce sites. It’s another escape route from the walled gardens: marketers get a new channel and retailers get more revenue from their sites.
