Boxever CDP Repackages Components to Expand Beyond Travel


Let's look at some companies outside the U.S. today.  We'll start with Boxever, a Dublin-based Customer Data Platform and orchestration system that has specialized in the travel industry. The company just repackaged its unification components as Boxever OneView and its orchestration tools as Boxever Engage. It’s part of a move to add retail and financial services clients. IOVOX Secures $10M in Funding to Expand to U.S.


IOVOX is a London-based firm that captures telephone call data so companies can better analyze where calls are coming from and how they relate to marketing programs and sales results. Boring but important. The company just raised $10 million to finance entry into the U.S. market.

AdParlor Adds Automated Content Tagging

Closer to home, Toronto-based AdParlor develops social and video advertising technologies.  Offerings include a dashboard, targeting engine, automated analytics, and anonymized audience creation from CRM data. AdParlor's latest trick is Intelligence Tags, which automatically scans social ads, including text and videos, and identifies features such as product, background, color, copy, and image content. The system stores these as tags and then analyzes them to identify which elements perform best. It currently works with Facebook and Instagram and will soon add Pinterest and Snapchat.  Automated tagging is a big deal because the alternative is to do the tagging manually or, more likely, not at all.
