SugarCRM has purchased Salesfusion, one of the few stand-alone marketing automation systems still, um, standing. In the past week alone, Acquia bought Mautic, Act-On Software expanded into new channels, and MailChimp launched its own marketing automation product. Marketing automation is still popular but more as a condiment than an entrée.
