Children's Privacy: Disney to pay $10M to settle children’s privacy suit with FTC
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has settled its suit against Disney, which claimed it failed to properly label children’s videos on YouTube which resulted in ad targeting minors and having their data collected without consent. At roughly 0.01% of Disney's $94 billion annual revenue, the $10 million fine doesn't even qualify as a rounding error.
