Creative Commons Tentatively Supports Pay-to-Crawl Tech for AI
Creative Commons, the nonprofit behind the licensing framework for sharing works while retaining copyright, says it's tentatively supporting pay-to-crawl systems, which would charge AI bots for scraping content. However, it cautions against rightsholders exploiting the system without benefit to the original creators.
