Children’s Privacy: Human Rights Watch finds Brazilian ed tech sites are tracking children

The seven websites, including two approved by state education secretaries, have been found to be tracking Brazilian students at school, home and online. The websites: Estude em Casa, Centro de Mídias da Educação de São Paulo, Descomplica, Escola Mais, Explicaê, MangaHigh, and Stoodi sent children’s data to third-party companies who tracked their data; and an eighth site, Revisa Enem, sent children’s data to a third-party company, though without using ad-specific trackers.
