Following an assessment that found dynamically served ads were promoting gambling and other age-restricted products to children, the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has recommended better use of targeting tools. ASA’s analysis focused on problems with non-logged in websites and YouTube channels with mixed-age audiences.
The new vault is offered as cloud API and designed to protect personal privacy.
Microsoft has confirmed that Reddit has blocked its Bing search engine from crawling content; Reddit seems to have blocked DuckDuckGo too. Reddit content will still appear in Google search results, but then Google has paid Reddit $60 million to allow it to train its AI models on that content. Reddit says the block has nothing to do with the Google deal: okay.
