Experimentation platform VWO has added a CDP module, repackaging capabilities it had previously built to support its own operations. The system is a true CDP, including abilities to ingest all data sources, retain data indefinitely, build customer profiles, and share those profiles with other systems. VWO plans to deliver enhanced personalization features in the next few months.
Continuing its early fall shopping spree, Salesforce has signed a definitive agreement to acquire data protection and management company Own (it is also acquiring voice agent vendor Tenyx). In addition to analytics capabilities Own will enhance Salesforce’s existing data security tools. It has been a Salesforce AppExchange partner for over 10 years.
