Sri Lanka, considered to have one of the oldest flags in the world, now has the newest privacy law (passed Jan. 24, 2024). However, concerns are that the controversial Online Safety Act, which gives government broad powers and uses vague wording, will instead be used more to suppress dissent.

Prices were not announced.
