Hong Kong’s Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) released its first set of protection guidelines for AI use. The stated goal is to nurture development of AI and to help propel Hong Kong into being an innovation and technology hub.

This following a filing by advocacy group noyb that resulted in objections from 11 European DPAs and a request to delay being conveyed to the company by Ireland’s Data Protection Commission (DPC), which has Meta in its jurisdiction.
New York’s governor has expressed support for the Stop Addictive Feeds Exploitation (SAFE) for Kids Act and is expected to sign it into law soon. The state attorney general, whose office would be tasked with enforcing the law, also supports it. SAFE would ban internet companies from exploiting children’s data and from using addictive algorithms to keep kids ages 18 and under hooked on social media.
Email and mobile personalization platform Movable Ink has announced a new integration between its Da Vinci content personalization solution and Adobe Journey Optimizer. Joint customers will be able to develop content assets aimed at each individual email recipient and bring them into Adobe Journey Optimizer for deployment. This builds on an existing integration between Movable Ink Da Vinci and Adobe Campaign.
