Spain says “no” to Meta voter data collection

The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) is suspending two products, “Election Day Information” (EDI) and “Voter Information Unit” (VIU) that Meta planned to introduce. These would have collected more detailed data on individuals to create complex, detailed profiles.
