Acquia Buys Widen to Add Digital Asset and Product Info Management

Acquia has agreed to purchase Widen, which offers cloud-native digital asset management and product information management software.  The deal extends Acquia’s digital experience platform beyond web content management, which is largely text-focused.   As you surely know, Acquia has a marketing cloud that includes the former Agilone CDP.

MDEC and eCommerce firm EasyStore to help 800 local biz gain brand exposure in Taiwan

The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation has tied up with eCommerce platform EasyStore to help Malaysian businesses expand into Taiwan. The online sales campaign aims to support at least 800 local businesses to increase their sales by at least 30% and gain significant brand exposure in Taiwan. MDEC and EasyStore are working closely with the Commerce Development Research Institute of Taiwan to offer a kickstarter programme to participating local online businesses to introduce their brands and market their offerings to new market segments in Taiwan.

Movable Ink Integrates With Adobe Journey Optimizer

Email and mobile personalization platform Movable Ink has announced a new integration between its Da Vinci content personalization solution and Adobe Journey Optimizer. Joint customers will be able to develop content assets aimed at each individual email recipient and bring them into Adobe Journey Optimizer for deployment. This builds on an existing integration between Movable Ink Da Vinci and Adobe Campaign.
