Adobe Launches AI Foundry to Incorporate Brand Tone

Adobe is launching Adobe AI Foundry, a model customization service based on the Firefly model. It will ingest a company’s intellectual property – not just images – to understand brand tone and retrain AI models to specifically serve that company. Foundry lets Adobe join the agent-building party with Salesforce, Dun & Bradstreet, OpenAI, Microsoft, and many others.

Consumers Open to Watching Ads for Free Content: Verve

Jamie, Senior Intern at the CDP Institute Department of the Obvious, brings us this Verve report in which 75% of UK and US consumers say they’re more willing to watch ads in exchange for free content than they were two years ago. He also points out that the percent of consumers concerned about their data being used to train AI has risen 20 points since the 2024 report. Furthermore, 97% say app publishers and platforms need to increase their transparency about data collection and usage.

Meta Strikes AI Deals with Multiple News Publishers

Meta has announced agreements with USA Today, People Inc., and other news publishers to pay for access to their content and link to their articles in its AI chatbot. It’s a sharp contrast to Perplexity, which the Chicago Tribune and New York Times are separately suing for allegedly scraping content and bypassing paywalls. Despite this deal, Meta apparently still opposes compensating publishers for news links in social media posts.
