AgroFresh is expanding its Latin American scope with the launch of SmartFresh ProTabs for growers and packers in Brazil and Mexico. The technology is designed to put the ripening process on hold, so that softening and over-ripening occur much more slowly during storage and transport.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) have launched the linkage between Singapore’s PayNow and India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI). This will enable customers of participating financial institutions in Singapore and India to send and receive funds between bank accounts or e-wallets across the two countries in real-time.
Standard, which works with large digital retail partners, including Pão de Açúcar, Amazon, Droga Raia and Casas Bahia and has clients including Dove, Red Bull, Brahma and Colgate, specializes in digital trade marketing. The team based in Brazil, plans to focus first on Mexico and then to expand to Argentina, Chile and Colombia.
CDP mParticle is being acquired by ecommerce platform Rokt for a price of $300 million. It’s the third acquisition of a leading independent CDP in a little over one month, following Uniphore’s purchase of ActionIQ and Contentstack’s purchase of Lytics. All three buyers offer some type of customer-facing technology; apparently they’ve decided that adding real-time profiles from CDP will give them a competitive edge.
