And Dovetail has launched its AI-centric customer intelligence platform.
Salesforce has agreed to acquire process intelligence software provider Apromore, giving users a comprehensive view of processes across all systems. This will help users figure out which processes can be automated by AI agents. Speaking of Salesforce and AI, Whatfix’s Seek for Salesforce is the first AI agent to complete Salesforce’s Trailhead Admin courses, which could be bad news for Salesforce admins when it launches early next year.
CDP Zeta Global has unveiled Athena, a “superintelligent” voice-activated interface that delivers instant answers, smarter decisions, and agentic actions throughout the Zeta platform. It activates a suite of agentic apps that can adapt to each user’s specific goals and styles. Early access will begin later this year, with a suite of agentic apps to follow in the first half of next year.
Meta has announced agreements with USA Today, People Inc., and other news publishers to pay for access to their content and link to their articles in its AI chatbot. It’s a sharp contrast to Perplexity, which the Chicago Tribune and New York Times are separately suing for allegedly scraping content and bypassing paywalls. Despite this deal, Meta apparently still opposes compensating publishers for news links in social media posts.
