Amperity has launched industry-specific versions of its customer data platform for hotels and airlines. Both solutions use AI in real time to provide personalized content across the customer journey. Vertical industry versions of products are an industry trend.
CDP Bloomreach has introduced Personalized Media in-Grid, which allows retailers to dynamically personalize product-listing pages so they change for each visitor. It’s powered by Bloomreach’s AI agents. Merchandising teams can use the tool without ongoing engineering support once it’s set up.
Hightouch has launched Hightouch Agents, a marketing AI platform focused on providing context and skills. It includes prebuilt agents to automate reporting, as well as the ability for users to build their own agents to perform specific tasks. Interestingly, Hightouch says you don’t need to use the Hightouch CDP to access this new product.
Meta has announced agreements with USA Today, People Inc., and other news publishers to pay for access to their content and link to their articles in its AI chatbot. It’s a sharp contrast to Perplexity, which the Chicago Tribune and New York Times are separately suing for allegedly scraping content and bypassing paywalls. Despite this deal, Meta apparently still opposes compensating publishers for news links in social media posts.
