Nigeria’s most populous City, Lagos has introduced a technological-driven device called: the Traffic Management Solution Device (TMS), aimed at ensuring that the residents comply with traffic law. The TMS is a handheld device, would allow for real-time capture of picture and video evidence of road traffic and vehicle compliance violations as they occur.
Next up: Treasure Data has completed its previously-announced separation from Softbank-owned Arm, which purchased it in 2018. Treasure Data will now be in the Softbank Vision Fund 2 portfolio, gaining more independence and easier access to capital. Treasure Data founding leaders Kazuki Ota, Hironobu Yoshikawa and Dan Weirich are also rejoining the company.
Salesforce has reversed course on its bid to acquire data management and integration platform Informatica a source has told Reuters. Informatica itself said that it is not in talks to be acquired. Salesforce stocks rose on this latest news while Informatica’s fell.
