Arm Treasure Data Adds Marketer-Friendly Segmentation Interface

CDP Arm Treasure Data has added features to make it easier for marketers to access the data it assembles, including a new Audience Studio to built segments, run predictive analytics, and activate customer lists. Other new features include policy-based permissions, new integrations including Box and Snowflake, and a European data center.

Ads.Txt Cuts Digital Ad Fraud 23%: Pixalate Report

Fraud prevention firm Pixalate took a closer look at digital ad fraud and found 21% of online ads were fraudulent in the fourth quarter of 2018. This was 17% higher the previous quarter, which Pixalate attributed to higher ad volumes make it easier for fraud to slip by undetected. One piece of good news: Websites using ads.txt to verify placements had 23% less invalid traffic than sites that did not.

Salesforce Offers AI Agents to Replace “Outdated” Copilots and Chatbots

Here’s a new buzzword for your Bingo card: “agentic AI”, which describes systems that act by themselves rather than in response to a prompt.  Salesforce was all over the concept last week, announcing its Agentforce collection.  According to the company, it replaces the “now-outdated copilots and chatbots” with agents “operating autonomously, retrieving the right data on demand, building action plans for any task, and executing these plans without requiring human intervention.”
