Spryker, the leading platform for enterprise marketplaces, thing commerce, and unified commerce, has published its Australian Online Grocery Report 2022. The research of 2,500 Australian consumers finds almost half – 48% – of Australians buy least some of their groceries online, with 10% now ordering most or all of their groceries via the internet. In total, 23% of Australian household food budgets is now spent ordering online.
Taiwan-based CDP Appier has purchased Woopra, a U.S.-based customer journey analytics vendor. Woopra will use Appier-collected data to simplify journey analysis and integrate the results with marketing programs. The deal will also give Appier more access to U.S. and European customers.
The U.S. Senate has passed a bill that could potentially ban TikTok in the U.S. if its Chinese owner, ByteDance, does not sell its holdings within a year. The bill now goes to the President Biden, who has said he will sign it. Court challenges are likely to follow.
