Autolab secures US$4.1M in funding to expand operations in Colombia and Mexico

Autolab, which provides management software to car service facilities, has successfully raised USD $4.1 million in a funding round.

The company seeks to bring transparency, standardization, and convenience to an industry often viewed as informal and untrustworthy and its software links car service facilities with diverse clients, from corporate fleets to individual vehicle owners. Autolab operates a network of more than 150 repair shops that serve over 70 vehicle fleets.

Salesforce Buys Airkit.ai for Automated Customer Service

Salesforce is buying Airkit.ai, which builds low-code, AI-powered e-commerce customer service agents.  You might have thought Salesforce could already do that, but presumably Airkit does it better.  It doesn’t hurt that the company founders sold a previous business to Salesforce, the company was partly funded by Salesforce Ventures, and the product is already listed on AppExchange.  Price was not announced.
