BAM Digital Realty, a joint venture between Brookfield Infrastructure and Digital Realty, has acquired 2.15 acres of land in Chandivali, Mumbai, to build a new state-of-the-art data center, its second in India. The facility will deliver 35 MW of IT load upon completion, bringing the company’s total planned capacity in India to 135 MW.
Wondrlab, the platform-first global digital network from India, has acquired a majority stake in Cymetrix, a Salesforce consulting and data analytics company in USA & India to strengthen its customer transformation and technology capabilities. This strategic acquisition reinforces its position in providing an interconnected digital transformation ecosystem to clients worldwide, at scale.
New Zealand’s government doesn’t have government-wide guidelines yet for internal use of AI, so is proceeding cautiously by banning staff from using ChatGPT and other AI technologies. This is similar to decisions other governments and major corporations including, Apple, Samsung, Amazon, JPMorgan Chase, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs, have made.
Salesforce is buying Airkit.ai, which builds low-code, AI-powered e-commerce customer service agents. You might have thought Salesforce could already do that, but presumably Airkit does it better. It doesn’t hurt that the company founders sold a previous business to Salesforce, the company was partly funded by Salesforce Ventures, and the product is already listed on AppExchange. Price was not announced.
