E-commerce experience cloud vendor Bloomreach has raised a $175 million Series F. The deal brings total funding to $422 million and values Bloomreach at $2.2 billion. Originally a content recommendation engine, Bloomreach has expanded into content management and bought the Exponea CDP a little over one year ago.
And here’s some actual news: risk analytics vendor Verisk has purchased Infutor, which provides identity resolution and customer intelligence data. Verisk plans to combine Infutor with Jornaya, which offers somewhat similar services but to different industries.
Email marketing platform Litmus didn’t start out in content recommendation, but they bought in with their acquisition of Kickdynamic last November. They just integrated the Kickdynamic technology into their core email tools. What caught my attention is the recommendations are based on a CDP-ish collection of data from company systems including “CRM, product feeds and more.”
Procrastinators of the world can throw a party whenever they get around to it: Google has once more pushed back complete third-party cookie deprecation. The new target is “early next year.” Reasons for the delay include concerns expressed by U.K. data regulator Information Commissioner’s Office, an ongoing inquiry by the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority, and widespread discontent in the advertising ecosystem.
