CDP and audience management platform Omeda also has an acquisition: the subscription fulfillment business of ESP Computer Services. This is just about adding customers, since Omeda will migrate ESP’s clients onto its own systems. Omeda also purchased the subscription operation of Hallmark Data Systems back in 2016.
Mailchimp has been buying its tech recently. Its latest purchase is Chatitive, a two-way SMS marketing platform. Other recent acquisitions have included Reaction Commerce and LemonStand (ecommerce), Sawa (automated design), BigTeam (surveys), and Inspector 6 (content analysis).
We haven’t had much product news so far this year, Dear Reader, so I’m glad to report that Informatica has launched a SaaS version of its Customer 360 Master Data Management platform. The system includes data integration, data quality, process orchestration, and reference data management. Informatica’s CDP is a separate product, Customer 360 Insights.
GrowthLoop will use TransUnion identity data to improve U.S. consumer match rates on client files sent to advertising media such as Facebook and Google Ads. The data should also help clients to find matches among records within their files, building more accurate customer profiles. GrowthLoop calls itself a “composable CDP”, meaning it works with data assembled in external data warehouses.
