Clarify Health pulls together all kinds of customer data to help healthcare organizations understand “patient journeys” and make predictions to guide healthcare decisions. It’s unclear whether it’s technically a CDP, which would only be true if it also shares the data with other systems. What is clear is that they just raised a $150 million Series D, bringing total funding to $328 million.
Hospitality vendor Cendyn, whose system does everything from marketing to reservations to analytics, has launched a new cloud-based platform that includes a CDP and web content management system. It’s a good example of what CDP Institute labels an “operational CDP”, since the scope includes operational as well as data and marketing functions.
Milan-based CDP and marketing agency Contactlab has been purchased by Growens, a global martech company whose other holdings include messaging system MailUp (Italy), CDP Datatrics (The Netherlands), no-code content builder BEE (U.S.) and email provider Acumbamail (Spain). The cash, stock, and earn-out deal is valued up to €6.5 million ($7.2 million).
Salesforce has reversed course on its bid to acquire data management and integration platform Informatica a source has told Reuters. Informatica itself said that it is not in talks to be acquired. Salesforce stocks rose on this latest news while Informatica’s fell.
