Comscore Buys Shareablee for Social Media Measurement

Connecting social media measurement with traditional media measurement is yet another trend worth watching.  Comscore is on it: they just bought Shareablee, which uses a proprietary taxonomy to classify videos, images, and articles across major social media platforms.  Comscore will integrate Shareablee’s social audience insights with its existing media measurement tools.

CData Raises $140 Million and Hevo Raises $30 Million, Both for Data Integration

“Composability” is the latest buzzword for breaking up integrated systems into separate functions. This puts CDP vendors into competition of generic data management tools such as data integration systems. So it’s relevant to know that Hevo, a no-code data pipeline, just raised a $30 million Series B, bringing its total to $43 million. Also, that CData, a real-time connectivity platform, announced its own Series B, a $140 million round that raises its funding to $160 million.

GrowthLoop and TransUnion Partner to Optimize Audience Reach

GrowthLoop will use TransUnion identity data to improve U.S. consumer match rates on client files sent to advertising media such as Facebook and Google Ads.  The data should also help clients to find matches among records within their files, building more accurate customer profiles.  GrowthLoop calls itself a “composable CDP”, meaning it works with data assembled in external data warehouses.
