Cost of a Data Breach Jumps 10%: IBM

The average cost of a data breach is now $4.88 million dollars, up 10% from $4.45 million last year, according to IBM. The good news that that extensive use of AI across prevention workflows resulted in an average of $2.2 million less in breach costs. AI has yet to obscure the challenge of a serious human cyber skills shortage.
