Google Wallet is now available in South Africa, the first market for this product in Africa, to make it easy for users to save and easily and securely access their payment cards, loyalty cards and boarding passes. Cardholders of partner banks in South Africa can now add their details on the wallet and make contactless payments using their Android phones and Wear OS devices.
Ambit Finvest, the Non-Banking Financial Company of Ambit Group, has partnered with Salesforce to digitize its customer onboarding journey. The Salesforce CRM platform enables the sales team to assess, filter, and prioritize leads and track loan applications on a real-time basis, thereby leading to enhanced sales productivity and improved approval rates.
CDP mParticle is being acquired by ecommerce platform Rokt for a price of $300 million. It’s the third acquisition of a leading independent CDP in a little over one month, following Uniphore’s purchase of ActionIQ and Contentstack’s purchase of Lytics. All three buyers offer some type of customer-facing technology; apparently they’ve decided that adding real-time profiles from CDP will give them a competitive edge.
