AI is becoming a must-have for the enterprise with spending on generative AI up 130% on 2023 according to a survey by AI Wharton at UPenn. The number of decision-makers using gen AI once a week has doubled to 72% over the same period. Concerns remain about accuracy, bias and data privacy.
Developers using Google Gemini API and AI Studio to create AI-powered services and bots are now able to use Google Search to ground their prompts. A grounding prompt in gen AI provides context to help a model better respond. In this case, Google Search will, hopefully, provide the models with the truthful data they need.
CDP mParticle is introducing AI Assistance, allowing users to enrich profiles and improve targeting by giving directions in a natural language interface. It is also promoting “composability,” configuring connections to any data store, and simplifying the “value-based” introduced last year.
Enterprise AI vendor Uniphore has acquired CDP ActionIQ and cloud data engineering system Infoworks. The combination of products will create a Zero Data AI Cloud that simplifies AI deployments by enabling companies to access data for AI projects without moving it from existing systems. Prices were not announced.
