Epsilon CDP Integrates Third-Party Data

Epsilon has launched a new Digital CDP, a SaaS-based product that enables users to launch digital ad campaigns through Epsilon’s PeopleCloud and third-party social media and display ad platforms. The system lets marketers enrich their first-party customer profiles with external information on demographics, lifestyle, transactions, and web browsing behavior.

CDPs Will Be More Common Than CRM Software: Twilio Report

Customer satisfaction is the top metric for customer success, according to this IDC study for Twilio. Yet just 33% reported fully interoperable data and communication tools. CDPs are high on the list of solutions, with 34% expecting to have a CDP within two years, a figure that’s higher than CRM (26%) but lower than marketing tools (50%), communication software (50%) or customer support software (46%).

Google Again Delays Third-Party Cookie Deprecation

Procrastinators of the world can throw a party whenever they get around to it: Google has once more pushed back complete third-party cookie deprecation.  The new target is “early next year.” Reasons for the delay include concerns expressed by U.K. data regulator Information Commissioner’s Office, an ongoing inquiry by the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority, and widespread discontent in the advertising ecosystem.
