A new survey of over 300 data integration professionals by Nexla shows that 45% now share data with more than 10 partners; 20% of enterprises share with over 100. That’s a lot of data sharing. Nearly all (87%) use three or more data integration tools, with APIs being the most common (67%) and reverse ETL being the least (23%).
Experimentation platform Eppo has raised $28 million in Series B funding from new and existing investors. Eppo offers A/B testing across marketing, AI and product teams allowing functions across organizations to participate in an experimentation culture. Among other things the funding will help support a new Channel Incrementality test suite that addresses the efficiency of marketing spend.
Twenty-six percent of retail and consumer goods leaders say their data quality is poor in comparison with competitors according to a survey by Consumer Goods Technology. Many also struggle with data management (38%) and analytics strategy (35%). More positively, 44% are working towards using shared data sources.
Customer engagement platform MessageGears will partner with content localization and translation platform Smartling to streamline email translation and localization for 450+ languages. The workflow is automated but actual translations are still done by (machine-assisted) humans.
