Gainsight Adds CDP Module

Customer success vendor Gainsight has launched a Customer Data Platform of its own, part of a new Customer Cloud for subscription businesses. The new CDP pulls in data from many sources, lets users define what’s stored, and shares data with a variety of external systems. We haven’t seen the details but it sounds like a real CDP.

What about actual behaviors? Two-thirds of the Snow respondents said their companies had processed more than 100 data rights requests. TrustArc found 47% of UK consumers had exercised some GDPR privacy right and 10% had made a data deletion request. Airship reported that mobile app audiences have grown and notification opt-in rates remain steady around 67% but location data opt-in rates fell from 9.3% to 7.7%.

Bombora Offers B2B Ad Targeting and Personalization Based on Content Consumption

Bombora has launched Visitor Insights, a consent-based website tag that tracks the topics a device has consumed.   It infers intent, job function, management level, and other information that B2B publishers can use for ad targeting and personalization.  This Bombora report shows intent trends by industry: for example, media and advertising users show 70% more interest in Customer Data Platforms than they did last year.
