Google has strengthened the indemnity against claims of copyright infringement that it provides to users of its generative AI tools. The announcement notes that general indemnity was already in place for claims about training data. It adds coverage for claims about outputs generated by Duet AI and Vertex AI.

They just concluded a deal that lets companies whose data is stored in Snowflake to code the data with Unified ID 2.0 tokens, making it available as advertising audiences through The Trade Desk. It’s one more extension of Snowflake’s footprint in the customer data world.
Google has announced a first-party data management tool, Google Ads Data Manager, for release early next year. The system will connect data from multiple sources, including CDPs and cloud data warehouses, and make the results available to create advertising audiences and measure advertising results. Not quite a CDP but you could mistake it for one in a dark room.
Retail and hospitality customer engagement platform Givex has added the ability to create comprehensive customer profiles that include interaction data from other systems. The new product, GivexEngageAI, also develops customer segments, executes marketing campaigns, and recommends next best actions. The company refers to it as a CDP and it does appear to tick all of our boxes.
