IAB Report Clarifies Legal Issues Surrounding Generative AI

Just in time for that July 4 barbecue with the in-laws: the IAB has issued a detailed report on the legal issues associated with generative AI.  Now you won’t have to feel left out when the conversation turns to data scraping, copyright for AI-generated content, and trespass to chattels.  Thanks, IAB!

Innervate Brings Enhancements to its Applications Suite

Innervate has announced three AI-powered enhancement to its app suite (it describes itself as a CDP but it’s not clear it creates a separate CDP database). The new tools are real-time customer segmentation, dynamic product recommendations and buyer journey orchestration. The suite also includes a “digital twin” for all known and unknown customers, designed for personalized recommendations and next-best actions: a kind of AI-boosted customer profile.
