You can add VideoAmp and TransUnion to that list: they’ve launched an offering that links VideoAmpt’s TV viewer data with TransUnion’s TruAudience purchase data. VideoAmp can also use the data to optimize media plans in real time.
I haven’t seen a holographic customer service agent yet but if they can’t be far away. In the meantime, Northridge Group reports that 93% of business leaders think their company makes it easy for consumers to solve problems but just 66% of consumers agree. Live chat and phone are the most effective channels, while 24/7 availability and better agent training are the top targets for improvement.
Salesforce is buying Airkit.ai, which builds low-code, AI-powered e-commerce customer service agents. You might have thought Salesforce could already do that, but presumably Airkit does it better. It doesn’t hurt that the company founders sold a previous business to Salesforce, the company was partly funded by Salesforce Ventures, and the product is already listed on AppExchange. Price was not announced.
