Insider Raises $121 Million to Unify Data and Optimize Journeys

Lots of measurement news today, Dear Reader.  Here’s a $121 million Series D from Insider, which connects data across all channels and uses AI to predict customer behavior and select optimal journeys and messages for each individual.  The “connect data across all channels” sounds a lot like a CDP, but they don’t seem to be sharing the results with other systems.

Have you been debating whether marketing operations should be centralized or decentralized?  Neither have we, but it’s still interesting to learn that 59% of Marketo users told Perkuo their marops were centralized, 30% hybrid, and 5% decentralized.  More here on most- and least-used capabilities and most common weaknesses.  Is “marops” a thing?  “Markops” would be cooler, since it sounds like “marketing cops”.
