Insite AI lives entirely on the big business side of the fence, offering AI-driven tools for consumer product category management, pricing, and trade promotions. They announced their own $19 million Series A last week. Their website is blissfully static.

This with their new $1,500 Meta Quest Pro headset that has its cameras facing you. All to “personalize your [virtual] experience” – a.k.a. track your every emotion and eye movement, and presumably, predict what you’ll buy better than ever before.
Google lashed out at the Department of Justice’s threat to break up the company, calling the proposals “radical.” Among other things, Google says the proposals would threaten users’ privacy, stifle innovation and break Android and Chrome. Given the appeals process, it will likely be years before we know whether Google will stay in one piece.
