Kantar Launches Direct Integration to Measure Meta Ad Performance

Advertisers are understandably reluctant to accept performance measurements from ad platforms like Meta.  Marketing analytics agency Kantar is providing more credible reporting through a “direct integration” with Meta. The integration retrieves ad exposure information and measures lift for a sample of opted-in panelists from Kantar’s 100 million-strong Profiles Network.

MediaMath Lives Again as Part of Infillion’s Platform

High profile adtech DSP MedaMath, which filed for bankruptcy in 2023 and was acquired by Infillion, has been relaunched within Infillion’s global media buying platform. Infillion will deploy MediaMath’s AI performance model, omnichannel inventory segments according to advertiser verticals and KPIs, and the MediaMath Academy for adtech certification. Infillion will provide performance measurement and attribution.

New CMA Report Finds More Problems with Google’s Privacy Sandbox

In a follow-up to their January report, the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority raised the number of concerns they have with Privacy Sandbox to 79. Among other issues, they adopted the privacy concerns raised by another U.K. regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office. Google’s recent decision to shift third-party cookie deprecation to next year might mean they saw this coming.

Treasure Data Introduces CDP Trade-Up Program

Treasure Data will provide its system to free for companies that are stuck in contracts with other CDPs. The trade-up program is available to companies with roughly firms with $1 billion or more revenue, that already have a competitive CDP in place. There will still be some costs for services to make the conversion but Treasure Data says these are fairly small since it has considerable experience with such projects.
