MessageGears has snappily redefined itself as “fully composable end-to-end data activation and engagement platform.” In considerably plainer English, it says it can now replace a separate CDP, email service provider, and customer engagement platform while relying on a cloud data warehouse. Although the different features are tightly integrated, they can be purchased as separate components by companies who don’t want the full kit.
Lytics has added new features and repositioned itself as an “Experience CDP” (xCDP), a change it believes will “finally solve the persistent challenges of Customer Data Platforms” by supporting CDPs’ “core mission” of “simplifying the complexity of personalization at scale.” Key capabilities include real-time data access, cross-channel orchestration, content integration, and a free personalization offering. The Treasure Data AI Framework will add generative AI chat interfaces to its CDP. A series of AI copilots is promised, beginning with Marketing Copilot which will allow users to design audience segments and brainstorm ideas and plans through a natural language interface. There’s also an AI Email Studio helping build personalized emails based on consumer behavior.
Pretty soon it will feel odd when you can’t click on an ad to buy something. PayPal is advancing that glorious future by transforming open web advertisements into fully functional storefronts.
