Microsoft Announces New Generative AI Capabilities for Marketers and Retailers

Microsoft is introducing new copilot features to Dynamics 365 Customer Insights to help marketers build end-to-end projects and campaigns by using natural language prompts or uploading creative briefs. Copilot will respond with a project board and recommended content. Also, with NRF looming, a copilot template will help retail marketers to build personalized shopping experiences.

Global Brands Unprepared for Google, Yahoo Bulk Email Requirements

A report from cybersecurity intelligence platform Redsift finds over 90% of global domains fail new requirements from Google and Yahoo that come into force on February 1. These include authenticate the domains you send from, make it easy for people to stop receiving your emails and don’t spam. Relatively few U.S. domains fail the tests — 6.52% compared with 50%, for example, in Japan.

Amperity Launches New Lakehouse Offering

Amperity has launched Lakehouse CDP,  which delivers CDP functions within “lakehouse” data stores including Snowflake and Databricks.  Amperity tools for data modeling, data quality, identity resolution, generative AI, segmentation, and performance measurement will send all results to a company’s own lakehouse rather than a separate Amperity-managed database. Modules can be used independently but the real benefit here is that Amperity is one of the few “composable” CDP vendors who offer a complete set of pre-integrated CDP functions.
