Personalization engine Movable Ink has dipped its toe into CDP waters with Universal Data Activation, an option that assembles data from all sources and makes it available for personalization. No mention of identity matching or sharing the profiles with other systems, so it’s probably not a proper CDP. But they are scratching the same itch.
YAAP, a specialized influencer marketing company based in Dubai, has has teamed up with data-driven social intelligence platform Tagger Media in a deal that marks the latter’s entry into the Middle East market. Tagger already has 17 offices on six continents and its arrival in the Middle East is part of a global expansion strategy.

They just released their findings in the form of a 129 page report that covers the topic from a definition of foundational models through how they work through their impact on consumers. They finish with seven proposed principles to guide model development and a promise for further discussions.

The deal will add campaign-level performance analytics and media optimization to Commanders Act’s core offering. It’s a good reminder that CDPs are taking a larger role in advertising management.
