Neustar Audience Data Now Available to Target Tru Optik OTT TV Ads

Speaking of targeting: data compiler Neustar is making its audience information available to target Internet-delivered (“Over the Top” or OTT) television advertising in the Tru Optik OTT Marketing Cloud. OTT was once a niche market but it’s now available in more than 70% of U.S. households.

Google Again Delays Third-Party Cookie Deprecation

Procrastinators of the world can throw a party whenever they get around to it: Google has once more pushed back complete third-party cookie deprecation.  The new target is “early next year.” Reasons for the delay include concerns expressed by U.K. data regulator Information Commissioner’s Office, an ongoing inquiry by the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority, and widespread discontent in the advertising ecosystem.
