The folks at Neutronian were considerably more excited about their news, which is that they have launched their data compliance and source verification platform. Their goal is to provide independent scoring of the quality and sourcing of marketing data. Compliant sourcing is a big issue since advertisers may be liable if they buy data that was gathered improperly.

Tiny Data443 (formerly Landstar) is also in the privacy business, although they haven’t raised any money so far as I can tell. They do claim 30,000 active users for their free WordPress plug-in, GDPR Framework, and offer several other data protection products. They just launched Global Privacy Manager, a SaaS-based tools for privacy compliance, data governance, and loss mitigation.
It’s tough to get brand safety right, but the industry keeps trying. IPG Mediabrands announced a new set of tools to find and block inappropriate ad placements, while IAS expanded its suitability measurements to include standards from the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM). Meanwhile, DoubleVerify admitted a mistake made brand safety on X/Twitter look worse than it really was in October 2023 and March 2024.
