Oracle is joining the enterprise AI bandwagon with updates to Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications. A new marketplace gives customers access to partner-built agents and templates. Furthermore, the Oracle AI Data Platform is bringing together cloud infrastructure and gen AI services for ease of scaling.
Meta has withdrawn from Media Rating Council (MRC) brand safety audits, leading to loss of accreditation after a mere four months. On the other hand, it has added DoubleVerify brand suitability measurement to its Threads platform. While Meta’s efforts seem half-hearted at best, they still make more sense than a reported plan by X to reduce misinformation by showing more info in user profiles.
Mobile tech company Button has launched CuratedBy Button, a solution that gives publishers social-ready content. The tool can be used for shoppable collections and product spotlights, all fully customizable to match company branding. They don’t say how many times one has to click a button in the process.
Meta has announced agreements with USA Today, People Inc., and other news publishers to pay for access to their content and link to their articles in its AI chatbot. It’s a sharp contrast to Perplexity, which the Chicago Tribune and New York Times are separately suing for allegedly scraping content and bypassing paywalls. Despite this deal, Meta apparently still opposes compensating publishers for news links in social media posts.
