Oracle announced the launch of its CX Unity customer data platform yesterday, although the press release doesn’t explicitly say the product is now generally available. The release does refer to CX Unity updates and new integrations but doesn’t say what these are.

I will note the news is all about self-service, starting with a new machine learning function in Tealium’s AudienceStream CDP. The new feature natively reads data gathered by AudienceStream, creates predictive models, and shares the resulting model scores through Tealium’s integrations. All without anyone writing a single line of code.
In more news from the personalization front, Dynamic Yield has added profiles based on attributes of products that users have browsed. This supplements profiles based on actual purchases. The segments can be deployed across any channel where a customer has been identified.
Procrastinators of the world can throw a party whenever they get around to it: Google has once more pushed back complete third-party cookie deprecation. The new target is “early next year.” Reasons for the delay include concerns expressed by U.K. data regulator Information Commissioner’s Office, an ongoing inquiry by the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority, and widespread discontent in the advertising ecosystem.
