OVHcloud launches first data center in India

OVHcloud, a European cloud leader, has announced the launch of its first data center in India, as part of its Asia Pacific expansion plans which will see the deployment of two additional data centers in Singapore and Australia by 2024. Adding to OVHcloud’s network of data centers worldwide, the new Mumbai facility is part of its recently announced global strategic plan to build 15 new sites by 2024. The global expansion will provide OVHcloud customers with open, trusted, sovereign and sustainable cloud solutions that will enable them to meet growing digital needs.

Web Werks launches 4MW data center in Bengaluru, India

Web Werks has launched a new data center in Bengaluru (aka Bangalore), India. The company announced this week that the Web Werks – Iron Mountain Data Centers (IMDC) Joint Venture has launched the first phase of a new facility in the Karnataka region of the country. First announced in February 2022 and located in the Whitefield area, the 80,000-square foot (7,430 sqm) BLR-1 facility can support up to 4MW and is built to Tier III standards. At full build-out, the site will offer 20MW across 110,000 sq ft (10,220 sqm).

Twilio Announces Unified Profiles Powered by Segment

Twilio has announced two innovations within Twilio Flex, its digital engagement platform. The first, Unified Profiles, will be powered by Segment and allow businesses to collect and activate real-time consented data. This is the first of three launches set for 2024 that will embed Segment in Twilio Communication products. The second innovation is Agent Copilot which will allow users to deploy AI across this data to boost productivity.
