Airlift, which expanded from an Uber-like transit booking service to an online shopping platform for customers in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad has raised $85 million. Plans are to expand the business globally.
TikTok, which had previously announced the linkup, is providing Shopify merchants a way to reach new audiences in the TikTok community. Consumers will also be able to utilize the TikTok for Business Ad Manager through the Shopify dashboard.
Invygo, which provides Middle East users with affordable cars from 50 different brands, has raised $1.9 million for a total of $4.2 million raised since April 2020. The company plans to form new partnerships with dealers and car rental companies.

Meanwhile, DoubleVerify admitted a mistake made brand safety on X/Twitter look worse than it really was in October 2023 and March 2024.
